The Moisture Factory is a recording studio, a record label and a way of life. Founded by Elliott – a.k.a. Duane Duane – the Moisture Factory is increasingly becoming a force to be reckoned with in the Hip Hop community. With projects spanning the country and the globe, the factory continues to grow.

Based in Santa Monica, California, the Moisture Factory is the epicenter of everything new in music. By pushing the limits of creativity in Hip Hop, Dance and Electronic Music, the Moisture Factory is redefining music as we know it. By collaboration with artists from every genre, the sound is continuing to evolve.

Timeline

  1. 1997Elliott leaves the grunge band Resnik and turns to hip hop.
  2. c. 2008The Moisture Factory begins.
  3. 2012Duane Duane invites the Mayor of Brunch into the Factory.
  4. 2016Country Biscuits, crushing it live.
  5. 2026The Factory gets a new website. The old one lives on at /2013/.
